I thought this was a lovely dress, but since I had to order up for waistline the back was very loose. Dress looks expensiveThis is a very beautiful dress. It does run small. I should have ordered the next size up. I was very disappointed to find out the next size up had sold out when I tried ordering it again in a bigger size. I should have read the reviews. Everyone says the dress runs small and to order the next size up.It can be difficult to purchase clothing online so here's my take on this dress. The color was not as pictured. I ordered the blue, expecting a more navy, as shown. The dress was a brighter blue but not like royal blue. The picture I attached was taken in natural light.The fit was the biggest problem. I wear a size 10, sometimes 12, so ordered two sizes up as recommended by other reviewers. The length was a bit too long, the sleeves were so tight I was afraid I was going to rip it as I took it off, it was too tight in the bust and the waist was too loose. I'm not unusually shaped or anything so I don't know what size I would actually wear. I initially figured I would just alter it but then decided the color wasn't what I really wanted, so back it goes.The fabric was soft and flowed nicely. The sequins were attached well and the overall sewing was good.Beautiful dress, well made with good materials. The -only- problem is that I followed the Amazon recommendation and various reviews that indicated that it ran small and to order a size larger. While this may be true for the other dress styles included for selection, it certainly does not apply to the Royal Double V-Neck, as following the recommendation led to the arrival of a dress that is a size too big.This dress fit well, but I had to hem it, which I don’t usually have to do. So, I would say it runs long if you are taller than average. Both arms had caught the seam allowance one in front and one in back and the seam allowance was on the outside of the dress. I had to whip stitch that down the day of the wedding. Comfortable dress, just give it a good once over before you wear it.The dress is beauteous. Nonetheless, it didn't look exactly as in the picture in the sense of its coloring. In the pic it depicts as if the dress is lighter and then darker towards the bottom. That was not the case when I received it since it was all one solid color of dark grey. With regards to sizing it really does run small and in my case 2 sizes smaller because of my measurements being small top w/wide hips. Nonetheless, the quality of the dress for its price is well worth it since it was missing a clasp in the back and had small stitching issues. It does accentuate the waistline and it flowed beautifully creating a surreal 'princess' ambience. It's perfect for the occasion of a wedding.I ordered 2 sizes up after reading all of the reviews. I should have only gone up 1 size. I knew I would have to get it hemmed since I’m only 5’1”. But the bust and waist are loose and will need to get altered as well. I’m most disappointed in the fact the sleeves are not sheer as indicated in the photo. They should replace that photo with the right one. I got the grey dress.Gorgeous dress. High quality material, does not look cheap at all. Love the style, details and material. The only issue is that the chest area it was really big for me. Customer service was excellentIf you are not sure about it, do not overthink it is worth it. I wished they had my size available for my event.
